  1. How can I get RealityCharting?

    Students attending a 2-day training class receive RealityCharting® as part of their material and past students can buy it individually. It can also be purchased online in combination with Apollo Associated Services' learning management tool eRCA™ .

  3. Can I install RealityCharting at work, home, and on my laptop computer?

    Yes, we permit the licensing of RealityCharting® on a work computer as well as a home and/or laptop computer, provided that it is intended for use by the same person.

  4. What does it take to learn RealityCharting?

    RealityCharting® is simple to use and readily supports the new user with a wizard, tutorials, and an informational user guide. RealityCharting® is also an integral tool taught in combination with your Apollo RCA training program. Useful tools and guidance on using the software can be found in the RealityCharting® Tips page.

  5. How do I share my work in RealityCharting with someone who doesn't have it?

    A RealityCharting® Reader is freely available as a download that will allow anyone to view a Realitychart. Please visit the Reader Download page to install the Reader. Additionally, there are a variety of printing, pdf creation, and exporting options that let you share your work in many different formats.

  6. How do I open more than one file at a time?

    Each RealityCharting® file can be viewed in its own window when opened from the file location or a shortcut. Launching the application from the program folder provides the windows to view as many files as necessary.

  7. How can I copy and paste cause boxes?

    To copy a set of causes from one analysis into another use the Import feature.

    Use the Go To feature to establish a direct connection with any other cause on the chart. If a causal branch comes down to the same set of causes identified elsewhere a Go To link should be created. This provides the added benefit of reducing the overall number of causes on the workspace.

  8. How do I use my analysis in applications like PowerPoint?

    The Export feature will allow you use your charting analysis in applications such as Word®, Excel®, and PowerPoint®.

  9. Can RealityCharting print large charts?

    Yes. RealityCharting® has a number of printing solutions depending on your needs. Multiple printing formats including international and plotter page sizing are available. If you need a large chart printed and don't have a plotter, contact us and we will do it for you.

  10. How do I print to a plotter?

    You should be able to readily print to a plotter with the Full Chart View and your designated printer selected. If you are having difficulty the tips section may provide a workable solution.

  11. What is Print Error 482?

    Error 482 is a generic printer error that means an error occurred at the printer, but no other information was returned to the computer that sent the file.

  12. How do I prevent RealityCharting file attachments from being corrupted when being sent via browser-based email software?

    To preclude this from happening we recommend that you always zip your .rca file before sending it from a browser-based email application.

  13. Is there a RealityCharting Users Group?

    There is not currently a RealityCharting® users group though future site development will look to include this feature. Please contact us if you would be interested in participating in a users group.

  14. How frequent are RealityCharting updates and upgrades?

    RealityCharting® updates are done regularly every 6-12 months with upgrades released every 12-18 months.

  15. How is RealityCharting supported?

    We are available to answer any questions you may have regarding RealityCharting®. You can fill out the Contact Us form to ask a question or log a technical support issue by completing the Support form.

    Maintenance agreements are offered to Enterprise Software customers and can be arranged for large quantities of the individual license.

  16. Where can I find a copy of the End User License Agreement?

    A copy of the RealityCharting® license agreement is included in the Users Guide and you can also select EULA to save or print a copy for your records.
